REVISED: Duke Blvd Closure to be Extended to November 13

Lebanon, Ohio – Deerfield Township – Duke Boulevard will remain closed an additional seven (7) days, 0.34-miles north of Irwin-Simpson Road, with work being completed Monday, November 13th, weather permitting.  An incorrect date was provided in a previous press release.

Traffic maintenance for the closure will remain the same through the extension. Motorists traveling to the front entrance of the strip commercial/industrial center located at 8461 Duke Boulevard will access from the south (Irwin-Simpson Road).  Access to the rear truck entrance for the same 8461 Duke Boulevard strip commercial/industrial center will be from the north (Socialville-Fosters Road).  Access to Intralot, Inc., 8450 Duke Boulevard, will be from the north on Duke Boulevard via Socialville-Fosters Road through the newly constructed roundabout.

Warren County observes 9th Annual Shake Your Mailbox

Lebanon, Ohio - The Warren County Engineer, Neil F. Tunison, P.E., P.S., asks residents to prepare for winter by shaking their mailbox.  The Warren County Board of Commissioners has signed a proclamation declaring Saturday, November 4, 2017, the “Shake Your Mailbox Day” in Warren County, Ohio. 

“In most instances where mailboxes are damaged, the snow plow doesn’t actually hit the mailbox, but the force of snow thrown from the roadway is enough to knock down a loose mailbox,” Tunison said.  “Damage to posts and receptacles can often be prevented by proper routine maintenance.”

REVISED: Interstate 71/State Route 741 ramp closures scheduled

Warren County (Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017) - Pavement repair work requires the following ramp closures beginning tonight:

Close the southbound Interstate 71 off ramp to east and westbound State Route 741 at 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 until approximately 2:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27. Work will then move to the southbound I-71 on ramp until approximately 6 a.m. Friday.

Fields-Ertel Road widening project update

Hamilton County (Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017) - Various lane closures on Fields-Ertel and Gregory roads, at their intersections with Royal Point Drive and Mason-Montgomery Road, from 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 until 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13. Traffic will be maintained.
