Snider Road North of Fields-Ertel Road and Fields-Ertel Road West of Snider Road Traffic Switch
PRESS RELEASE
DATE: Friday, July 10th, 2026
Snider Road North of Fields-Ertel Road and Fields-Ertel Road West of Snider Road Traffic Switch
Lebanon, Ohio – Symmes Township and Deerfield Township, Hamilton County and Warren County, Ohio – Snider Road, from Fields-Ertel Road to Cross Meadow Drive, will experience a traffic switch on Monday, July 13th, 2026, weather permitting. The traffic switch will move the traveling public to the newly constructed west side of the roadway so the Contractor can construct the widening on the east side of Snider Road. Two-way traffic will now be permitted on this section of roadway. The traffic switch is part of the Fields-Ertel Road Widening Project which will widen Snider Road from Fields-Ertel Road to Cross Meadow Drive.
Fields-Ertel Road, from Cross Pond Drive to Snider Road, will experience a traffic switch on Monday, July 13th, 2026, weather permitting. The traffic switch will move the traveling public to the newly constructed north side of the roadway so the Contractor can construct the widening on the south side of Fields-Ertel Road. The eastbound traffic only restriction will remain in effect. The traffic switch and restriction are part of the Fields-Ertel Road Widening Project which will widen Fields-Ertel Road from Cross Pond Drive to Snider Road. Properties between Cross Pond Drive and Snider Road will only be able to access their property heading east. The westbound lane restriction is between addresses 8209 to 8290 Fields-Ertel Road.
This project is being constructed by the John R. Jurgensen Company for a bid amount of $18,611,588.44. This project is funded by the Federal Surface Transportation Block Grant, Ohio Public Works Commission, Deerfield Township Trustees, Symmes Township Trustees, Hamilton County Engineer’s Office, and Warren County Engineer’s Office through the Warren County Transportation Improvement District.
The detour for westbound Fields-Ertel Road will continue to utilize Fields-Ertel Road, Butler-Warren Road, Irwin-Simpson Road and Snider Road.
Your cooperation during this project will be greatly appreciated.
