Fields-Ertel Road, East of Columbia to Close
The Warren County Engineer's Office announced today that effective Monday, July 6, 2015, the east leg of Fields-Ertel Road at the intersection of Fields-Ertel Road and Columbia/Lebanon Road will be closed during the daytime hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work for six weeks, weather permitting. The project limits will begin at Columbia Road and reach 2500 feet east to Ashwood Drive. Local residents will have access to their driveway.
This utility work, being completed by the contractors G.M. Pipeline and KS Energy, is being completed in preparation for safety improvements which include the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Columbia Road and Fields-Ertel Road. This is Phase I of a four phase utility relocation project. Each leg of the Fields-Ertel Road and Columbia/Lebanon Road intersection will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm, subsequent press releases will be released after each phase is completed.
