Deerfield Township Coronavirus Updates

The Deerfield Township Board of Trustees, Administration, and Fire/EMS Department continue to closely monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in coordination with the Warren County Health District, State of Ohio, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Based on Governor Mike DeWine’s direction in regards to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, effective immediately, the township will be operating with limited on-site personnel until June 1st, 2020. Essential services provided by the township will be maintained and our Fire and EMS Department will be operating at full capacity during this time.

Between May 4th and June 1st the following conditions will remain in place:

  • Township fire stations will be closed to the public and unable to be reserved for events.
  • The administrative office will be closed to visitors. Staff will work on a rotating schedule between the office and remotely in order to maintain proper social distancing.
  • Our parks will remain open, but all buildings and facilities will be locked to reduce the possibility of transmission of the virus.
  • Planning and Zoning permits will continue to be handled electronically.
