Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA)

Section 4301.82 of the Ohio Revised Code authorizes townships with populations more than thirty-five thousand (35,000) to create Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas or “DORAs” up to three hundred twenty (320) contiguous acres or one-half square mile.

The Deerfield Township Board of Trustees has recieved an application to create a DORA, the boundaries of which are shown on the map below. 

The Deerfield Township Board of Trustees will convene a public meeting on July 7, 2020 to modify, approve or disapprove the application. All meetings will take place at the Township Meeting Room, 4900 Parkway Drive, Suite 180, Mason, Ohio 45040.

All meetings are open to the public and interested citizens are invited to attend and participate. Those citizens having special needs requests should contact the Deerfield Township Administrative Office, at 513.701.6958.
