Lt. Snelling grew up in Middletown, Ohio and went to Mount St. Joseph University where he played football and studied Finance and Accounting. After sometime in the corporate world, Lt. Snelling decided to pursue a career in law enforcement. After successfully completely his academy training, he began a career with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in January of 2002. Lt. Snelling has worked at each of our enforcement posts and specifically Deerfield as a Deputy, Sergeant and finally, now as a Lieutenant. He was a field training officer (FTO) and later became responsible for overseeing that program. Lt. Snelling is currently a member of the Warren County Tactical Response Unit where he is the team leader for the Crisis Negotiation Team (Hostage Negotiators). Lt. Snelling was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2009 and Lieutenant in 2012. He is a graduate of the Police Executive Leadership College and lives in Clearcreek Township with his wife and two children.
Lt. Snelling is looking forward to returning to Deerfield Township and working with not only the residents, but members of the business community, schools and those who visit this wonderful area of Warren County.
