This 46 acre park is located at the intersection of Snider Rd and Irwin-Simpson Rd. The park features soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball courts, and a walking path. Additional amenities include a fishing pond, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and restroom facilities.

The centerpiece of the park is the Snyder House. The late Mary Cottell, patroness of the park, generously donated $50,000 to the parks system, which was used to create a stone patio and flower garden surrounding the Snyder House.

In 2009, Cottell Park became home to the Deerfield Honors Veterans Memorial. This park-within-a-park was designed to honor the service of all past and present members of the Armed Forces.

In September of 2013, the "Circle Game" quilt barn was unveiled. This is the third quilt barn installed at Deerfield Township parks and is part of a collaboration with The Arts Alliance to create a quilt barn trail.
